back home

by Ashdon wood

last Saturday we arrived back home and I was so excited about coming back home and visiting my friends and doing lots of fun stuff. when I got back home I patted Dally(our dog) and played the Wii. After I went in the shower for ten minutes but Leith went in the bath for two hours. when I went to bed I slept very well because no noise or light like they had in the caravan. In the morning it felt like a dream but I didn't know why. On Thursday I saw my friend Koby came over for a sleep over and his brother Rory came as well. it was hard to get to sleep because of Dally but the worse time was at mid night and koby got woken up by Dally's breath and then Dally moved onto my bed and I was fast asleep and Koby was giggling and I got woken up Kobys giggling and I saw Dally on my bed so I called mum to get here off and when she came out she looked very very tired. on Friday we didn't do much but I did know that koby went back home. Today(which is right now) Jolie is playing Mario cart, Leith is playing with his toys, dad is in the shed and I am on my laptop. Ashdon out.

what I saw at the beach

by Ashdon wood at the beach In Point Samson

at the beach saw a huge pile of shells but we didn't know who it belonged to. the next one we saw was a massive piece of coral. the coral got to the shore by the tide getting to close to the shore and leaves behind other things like seaweed or shells and lots of other things in the ocean. the next one was a cone shell snail. they are dangerous because if you pick it up and its still alive they will throw a big spear at you and if it gets you you die. the last thing is some little crabs making sand balls. I loved the beach it was so much fun.

big trains

by Leith wood

We saw some big trains. Dad said that they were more than a kilometre long. They were good. At the look out at Wickham we saw a train stop and then move. It was really long and we couldn't see the ends to it. The roads goes over the top of it and you can see what it has in it which is dirt. That's all it.

We learnt how they used to dive for pearls and we got to taste a bit of pearl meat. It tasted a bit funny. We got to hold another pearl only it was a little bit smaller than the other one and had a better lustre. it was worth $100 000. We went shopping again and while we where waiting in the car for dad Leith through Ashdons shirt out of the car and Ashdon had to get it and we locked him out of the car and he got really angry but it was funny. We went back to the caravan park and had dinner.

pearls

by Ashdon who is holding a pearls.

Pearls are expensive because they are special and hard to find. They are hard to find because they are at the sea in the sand. They use diving suits to get them. Pearls cost about something thousand dollars. They are found in the sand inside pearl shells and not just pearls can be found in pearl shells there can be food called pearl meat which is disgusting.
